Mike Bonner then left the band, to be replaced by Ian Benzie who not only played bass, but took over as lead
singer. Until this point Gareth and Nods had performed the lead vocals. |

Colin Chapman joined the band shortly afterwards on drums |

The next addition to Tour de Force was Deanne Munro on keyboards. This line-up went on to record The
Promise's first album, and stayed together until Deanne got married and moved to the States with her American husband.
Colin has since moved to Glasgow, where he plays in Carwash, a 70s disco tribute
band. |
